Los Plateados Telemundo

Telemundo… what does “Los Plateados” mean?

And what is the show about?

I’m trying to become more fluent in spanish. i’m a sophomore and i’m in spanish 3… my reading skills far outweigh my listening skills. Tips on fluency would be nice too.

thanks :)

the silver ones…what is it? a soap?

Your listening skills NATURALLY are weaker…it’s normal. Watching TV is one good way…the news is a terrific source. Al Rojo Vivo is pretty good, too.

Movies. They are also a great way to pick up slang. If you can find some that were originally in Spanish, with subtitles in English (and the other way around) you can listen to the one, and learn expressions in the other.

The BEST thing you can do, since you are not at a point where you can just pick up and travel to a place where you would be immersed, which you SHOULD do, when it is possible, is to try to find some native speakers in your area to meet with to practice BOTH languages. We meet for coffee once a week, here.
