Help me translate? (Spanish to English)?
What english proverb is this:
al perro mas flaco, se la cargan las pulgas
The mouse that has but one hole is quickly taken.
Literally, it means “it’s the skinniest dog which crawls with fleas”, but that was the closest I could get, unless “don’t beat a dog when he’s down” would be acceptable.
