what does gaccela or gacella mean in arabic?
i hear it often in the telenovela el clon on telemundo the husband is always calling his wife gacella ( im not sure if the spelling is correct) and its not her name
please help i cant find it because im probably not spelling it right thnx.
but i think he means it as like my dear or love because he says it to her when he is talking to her in a loving/ apologetic way
Maybe what you heard is ghazzal(ah), Arabic غزال which is deer (the animal). The -ah suffix is there for the Feminine in some dialects like Egyptian. Otherwise the word without the Fem. indicator can stand for both male and female. Some may refer to a beautiful and nimble woman as ghazzala as a form of endearment.
